JasperServer is a high-performance report server and business intelligence platform designed for developers and businesses. Deploy JasperServer when users need to create their own ad hoc reports, charts, or crosstabs, or it becomes necessary to store, schedule, distribute, share, drill-down, or interact with reports.
JasperServer includes a secure report management repository, standards-based report definitions based on JasperReports, embedding and integration interfaces, and the JasperStudio powered by iReport graphical report designer.

Powered by modern Web 2.0 AJAX technologies, users can serve their own ad hoc reporting needs, without depending on IT or developers to create reports and analyses for them. Using nothing more than a standard web browser business users work with a secure business view of the data source, and don't need to understand technical database concepts such as tables and joins. Business users can also select from multiple prompted parameters to retrieve the data they need. Users can save, share, schedule, and distribute their own ad hoc reports via the built in repository manager application.

With JasperServer, authorized users can view, request, and update reports, charts, and crosstabs within popular JSR 168 compliant portals. JasperServer includes a built-in portal server based on Liferay, the leading open source portal server. JasperServer's support for the JSR 168 portlet specification makes it even easier to weave reporting and BI into the very fabric of your business for better, faster decisions and higher performance.
Report Scheduling and Distribution
